HIMYM - Awaiting for Season IV

How I Met Your Mother (aka HIMYM) is one of the American Situation Comedy that is premiered on CBS Broadcasting on September 19,2005.It has been 3 years since its premiere and it has got a great response from the viewers averaging of 9 million people.Since I am living in India,I couldnt able to view it on TV.Instead I download the HDTV ripped version from Internet and got a chance to view it.The series is based around the main character, Ted Mosby,telling his son and daughter about the events that led to his meeting their mother.I liked the character Barney Stinson.There is plenty of Humor in Barney Stinson character.i.e in facial expressions, speech etc..

The Season I starts in 2030 with Ted Mosby gathers his daughter and son to tell them the story of how he met their mother.Later Flashback of the story begins in 2005 with Ted as a 27 year old architect living with his two best friends from Wesleyan University.Marshall,a law student and Lily,a kindergarden teacher who have been dating for the past nine months and their engagement made Ted to find his soulmate and he seeks Barney, a womanizer with an unnamed corporate job.Barney always used to play a game saying:"Hi, have you met Ted?"and introduced Robin to Ted.After some episodes,Ted begins dating a baker, Victoria, whom he meets at a wedding,this make Robin jealous and their reltionship gets broken and finally Ted dates Robin at last.While Lily decides to pursue an art fellowship in San Francisco,breaking the relationship with Marshall

The Season II starts with Ted and Robin being a couple.Marshall spent his life in Lily's absence and starting dating other people.Lily return to New York and this advances to their marriage.Barney loses a "slap bet", which permits Marshall to slap him in the face five times at any given time in the future, whenever Marshall chooses, which he has done two times through the course of this season.Robin and Ted decide to be friends when they realise that both want different things.In the meanwhile Barney has a gay, black brother. They eventually find out that Robin was a Canadian teen pop star in the early 90's.

The Season III starts with Robin returning from a trip to Argentina and Ted must adjust to life as just her friend.Marshall and Lily finally score their dream apartment, only to discover the neighborhood is next to a sewage treatment plant.Barney is slapped for the third time on Thanksgiving, which Marshall dubs "Slapsgiving".Ted attempts to woo Stella, a dermatologist he sees to remove an embarrassing tattoo.Robin sleeps with Barney after he comforts her following a break-up, which is followed by Ted's disapproval due to the breaking of the "Bro Code".Barney's saboteur is revealed to be Abby(Britney Spears),Stella's receptionist, with a vengeance against Barney for not calling her after they had sex.Ted and Barney renew their friendship after both Ted and Barney are involved in accidents.It has not been revealed whether Stella is the woman Ted marries.
